St Martin Lantern Parade

Join us with your family for this European tradition. The event is free and there are no tickets required.

Bring your home made electrical lanterns (no open fire or gas lanterns) and snacks (marshmallows sausages.......) that you can roast over the bonfire. We provide the hot chocolate. Thank you so much to our longstanding sponsor Tim Hortons for sponsoring the hot chocolate also this year.

St. Martin and his horse Ben will lead the parade of colorful lanterns from the Edworthy Park North Parking Lot (beside Angel's Cafe) to the picnic site where we will gather around a bonfire.

Did you already practice the St Martin songs? We hope to fill the air with lots of voices during the parade and around the bonfire.
