St Machar Fun Run Series 2026

Join our 2026 Fun Run Series for 4-weeks of running with Active Schools Aberdeen!

Thanks to sponsorship from Perform Panel, runners who take part in at least three of the four race days at St machar Series will receive a participation MEDAL at the end of term!

St Machar – Tuesdays: May 12th, 19th, 26th and June 2nd 2026

Venue: St Machar Academy Playing Field (St Machar Drive, AB24 3YZ)

Time: 3:55 - 5:00 pm

Who: Aberdeen City Primary School Pupils P1 - P7

Please Note:

• You only need to book ONE ticket per child, that corresponds with the relevant class the participant is in (eg, P1, P2, P3, etc.). This one ticket will cover the entire 4-week series.
• All participants must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• We require volunteers to help during the event. If you are in a position to help, please reach out to [email protected]

Estimated Starting Times:

P1 (400m) - 4:00 pm

P2 (400m) - 4:07 pm

P3 (400m) - 4:12 pm

P4 (800m) - 4:20 pm (C of C Eligible)

P5 (800m) - 4:30 pm

P6 (800m) - 4:40 pm

P7 (800m) and P5 to P7 (1600m) - 4:50

Pupils in P5, P6 and P7 can choose whether to run 800m or 1600m on the day. We will be holding a Champion of Champions (C of C) event in June for the top boys and girls in P4 (800m) and P5/P6/P7 (1600m).
