Berrien RESA's Playgroups are FREE for all families with babies and children ages birth to 5.
Each month, a new children's book is featured as well as fun hands-on family learning activities, including:
• sensory play
• story time
• art experiences
• baby area
• snack
All activities are chosen because they promote positive parent-child interaction and developmentally appropriate learning opportunities.
Our playgroups are casual and last for one hour. After a short welcome, families can choose how to spend their time interacting with the activities provided. At story time, families will receive a copy of the featured book to take home!
Playgroups are hosted by Berrien RESA’s Early Childhood Education Department. A Family Educator will be available to talk to parents & caregivers about their child’s development and printed information and resources will be on hand as well.
