St John's Church Restorative Sound Bath

Come together for a restorative evening, bathing in Sound, Vibrations and Frequency. An opportunity to find rest and peace, for mind, body and spirit.

We enter this space to journey with sound, accessing deep states of relaxation with the instruments amplified by the buildings architecture and beautiful domed space. This session aims to take you into a tranquil meditative space, drawing you into predominantly both Alpha and Theta brainwaves states in order to access true rest.

This space is yours to rest, relax, recharge and renew.

The session will be working with the Gong, a selection of bowls and drum - At the end there will be a short time of chimes and percussion to bring you back into a normal waking state of consciousness.

Please arrive promptly before 7:00pm for a 7:00pm start/intro, allowing for your set up and comfort.

Part proceeds of this event will be donated to local mental health support group, Tree of Hope.

BOOKING STATEMENT.

Please bring with you a bottle of water and something comfy to lay on, this is a church so please bring all comfort needs as the floor is hard. Maybe a blanket and perhaps an eye covering too? Whatever is right for you to be comfortable during this time.

ACCESSIBILITY - if you would rather bring a beanbag or a camping chair for your space rather than a mat instead, please do.

By booking, I can confirm that:

• I am over 16 years old.

• I am not less than 3 months pregnant.

• I have not had any metal implants fitted within the last year.

• I do not have seizures and do not knowingly have any other condition which is triggered by sound.

• I am not currently being treated for schizophrenia, paranoid schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder or any other serious mental health condition.

• I will not arrive at the session under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

• I agree that if I have any serious medical condition, physical or mental, any special need or change in circumstances then I will communicate/update this with my sound practitioner before the day of the session in order to discuss further.

• By booking I understand I will be added to the mailing list for updates, but can remove myself at any point.

• I understand that the sound relaxation sessions may have a therapeutic effect but are not a substitute for any orthodox or holistic treatment I am receiving at present and/or Medic*tion I am taking at present.
