St. Distaff’s Day was traditionally the day when women would resume spinning after leaving their wheels and spindles idle for several weeks of the Christmas season. Spinners, knitters, crocheters, and stitchers are invited gather for food, fellowship, and fiber time at the home of Kathryn de Beziers (aka Kim Gilman- message her for the address). We will have an optional crafters’ gift exchange. To participate, bring a wrapped item of interest to crafters that is worth up to $15. Handmade items and supply bundles are encouraged!
