Liebe Freunde, dear friends,Shake out those beer-stained lederhosen and dainty dirndls: we are delighted to welcome you to the 18th Annual St Andrews Charity Oktoberfest, which is to take place on the 22nd of March, 2025
With an abundance of ‘Gemütlichkeit’, ‘Gaudi’, and ‘guader Laune’, alongside the help of Bavaria’s finest brewery, 'Paulaner’, we bring to you Bavarian food, music, and most importantly, litres upon litres of beer.
Table Raffle sign-ups for all St Andrews students will take place in February, 2025.
CHARITY: The St Andrews Charity Oktoberfest is proud to be held in support of Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia (TCCL). TCCL offers a holiday home in St Andrews free of charge, where children and their families affected by childhood cancer have the opportunity to rest and reset in a peaceful and safe environment. Our yearly donation of over £20'000 has allowed TCCL to build and refurbish an entire lodge in St Andrews, and cover the yearly running costs for approximately 30 families. For further information, and for any donation big or small, please visit TCCL at https://tccl.org.uk/the-lodge/.
INTERNATIONALS: We partner with St Andrews Shuttle to offer direct transfers from Edinburgh Airport to St Andrews. Closer to date, you will be able to find all information under standrewsshuttle.com.
RE-SALES OF TICKETS: note clause (i) of the Terms and Conditions. Please inform us of any name changes/ticket transfers and at what price. At face value, we will make the transfer immediately, but for cases in excess of the face value, we ask that you please donate the surplus to the charity to maximise our donation.
Fill out the following link to successfully transfer any tickets: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfwlS2kXlJZesPHPynfadi3ZVWJhQf2IRh902UD3ntqFX6giw/viewform?usp=header
BEHAVIOUR: We kindly remind you to drink responsibly at the event, and strongly urge you to behave in a manner that is deemed respectful. We are now on our second strike with the Fife Council. A third one would mean that the event will never take place again. We therefore ask that you behave responsibly at all times and respect the town community. Any form of improper behaviour will not be tolerated.
Prost! ein Prosit, und Zicke Zacke,
Das Komitee
