SSIF 6 Week Healthy Parent Carer Programme

Our Healthy Parent Carer Programme will run for 6 weeks (with a break in the middle for half term)

The dates are as follows:

Monday 2nd February 2026

Monday 9th February 2026

Monday 23rd February 2026

Monday 2nd March 2026

Monday 9th March 2026

This course is run for Parent Carers, by Parent Carers, who have lived experience of caring for a child with SEND and will help you to:

• Take time for yourself – because looking after you is just as important as looking after your family.
• Connect with other parent carers
• Learn new self-care and stress management strategies
• Prioritise your wellbeing
• Find calm and balance in your busy life

Please note: As we need you to have the time on this course to dedicate to yourselves, it is with apology that babies and children of the attendees cannot be accommodated for the duration of this course.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided and there is an onsite cafe at the Civic Centre, but please note that lunch will not be included.

Parking can be limited, so please allow extra time if driving to the venue.
