🌊 Calling all young ocean adventurers! 🐠
SSI Explorers is a fun, stress-free way for kids to experience the underwater world through exciting aquatic adventures like snorkeling, scuba diving, mermaid swimming, freediving, and ocean conservation.
Your child (age 6+) will join Emma, Nico, and their marine friends as they learn how to protect our oceans, build confidence in the water, and earn real SSI recognition ratings along the way.
Kids can become:
🩵 Blue Oceans Explorers
🤿 Snorkel Explorers
🧜♀️ Mermaid Explorers
🐬 Freediving Explorers
🫧 Scuba Explorers (age 8+)
We are running 3 camps this summer:
June 22/23/24 (12:30pm - 3:30 daily)
July 15/16/17 (12:30pm - 3:30 daily)
Aug 3/4/5 (12:30pm - 3:30 daily)
Day 1:
Blue Oceans Explorer: The first day of camp, we meet at the @OklahomaAquarium where we learn about marine life, our oceans, conservation and single use plastics. They will get a water bottle and a workbook and earn their Blue Oceans Explorer certification.
Day 2:
We meet for a short classroom session and then jump in the water for snorkeling. They get to learn how to snorkel along with fun water games to get more comfortable in the water and earn their Snorkel Explorer certification.
Day 3:
We meet for a short classroom session and then they jump in the water for either Scuba (ages 8+) or Mermaid/Freediver (ages 6+) learning safety skills for their desired course and earn either the Scuba Explorer, Mermaid Explorer or Freediver Explorer certifications.
And the adventure does not stop there! With 22 Specialty Explorer ratings available, young divers can continue learning with fun programs like Shark Ecology Explorer, Rescue Explorer, Underwater Model Explorer, Search & Rescue Explorer, and more.
From first bubbles to advanced skills, SSI Explorers helps kids grow into confident, ocean-minded adventurers.
