RACE DETAILS:
The race kicks off at 9:00 AM, with runners partaking in a 5-kilometer run and walkers partaking in an abridged 2-mile walk around "the Railroad." The route for the 5K will entail a loop around the Staten Island Railway (SIR) between Ross Avenue and Jefferson Avenue, with an abridged 2-mile route for walkers.
THE STARTING LINE, will be at the intersection of Jacques Avenue and South Railroad Avenue. Elite runners are instructed to get to the front of the pack closest to the starting line, regular runners behind them, and walkers behind the runners.
THE FINISH LINE for all participants will be on New Dorp Lane between South Railroad Avenue and 8th Street (near La Strada Restaurant). After the race, an Awards Ceremony will take place at New Dorp Lane and New Dorp Plaza S on the main stage.
