SPEAKER: Shingle Springs Health & Wellness Center - Kyle Nelson
Kyle's Bio:
Kyle Nelson is the executive director of Shingle Springs Health & Wellness Center, where he oversees comprehensive health services, including medical, dental, behavioral health, specialty care and pharmacy operations under the Health Board of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians.
With more than 10 years of leadership in Tribal health systems, he has led program expansion, revenue growth and quality improvement initiatives.
Previously, he was a Tribal health clinic program director for the Quartz Valley Indian Reservation in Siskiyou County, California, where he led significant expansion of services and infrastructure. His experience also includes community health program management, grant writing across multiple federal agencies and direct service in behavioral health settings.
He holds two master’s degrees in public health and social work from the University of California, Berkeley, and is an enrolled member of the Karuk Tribe of California.
