SRMC Childbirth Prep and Newborn Care Class

The Baby Suite at Santa Rosa Medical Center provides fun and informative classes to expectant parents. Classes are taught by an experienced registered nurse. We encourage labor partners to attend. Space is limited.

The childbirth prep class will prepare you for what to expect during labor, delivery and recovery. This may help reduce the anxiety you may have about your hospital stay. It also includes information about the Baby Suite and pain management education, including epidurals and nitrous oxide use in labor. This class will also include information to prepare you on how to care for your newborn. This class is perfect for first-time parents, or those looking to refresh their memory.
