The BIGGEST part of the BIGGEST party of the year! Don't miss our annual Squatchcon Cosplay Costume Party and Awards Ceremony! Boogie to live local music and help us celebrate the best of the best cosplayers with huge prize packages.
Food and drink available for purchase through the Sunset Bar & Lounge at Field Hall. This event is FREE for Squatchcon pass holders and a $10 suggested donation to Field Hall for non-pass holders.
COSPLAY AGE CATEGORIES:
Sasquirts (0-5)
Littlefoots (6-12)
Crypteens (13-17)
Bigfeet (18+)
RULES:
1. All contestants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate. A consent form must be signed onsite at the time of registration.
2. Participants must register, have their photo taken, and fill out an entry form in person in order to be considered for the Cosplay Contest. Registration is between 11AM-2PM on Saturday, April 12th at the Vern Burton Community Center.
3. All costumes must provide appropriate coverage to be worn in public and be in good taste for a family-friendly show.
4. Costumes cannot be obscene or offensive, and cannot endorse any form of hate or any hate group. Excessive gore and graphic violence is not permitted.
5. Absolutely NO real weapons or sharpened edges.
6. All guests of Squatchcon and the Vern Burton Community Center are expected to behave respectfully; no throwing props or using projectiles, no purposeful messes or vandalism.
7. No pyrotechnics, fire, explosives, fog machines, smoke bombs, flash paper or powder, or similar special effects.
Please be mindful of strobe light effects as they can trigger medical conditions.
8. Each contestant may register only one costume into the competition (feel free to wear multiple looks during the weekend!)
