It goes without saying that it will be another rocksolid lineup of talented screen professionals presenting fascinating and informative content:

📍 Location: Dean Clough Mills, Halifax - we meet as usual in The Crossley Gallery
📍 Car Parking: Free after 17:00
Important note: Dean Clough is a very large site so for your convenience, here is the What3Words location directly to the entrance to the nearest free car park - https://what3words.com/dull.bowls.space
Here is the agenda for the next meeting:
Opening Remarks by Jeremy HallAn official welcome by the Managing Director of Dean Clough Mills. The Square Lens Alliance now has an official base within the business centre office at Fearnley Mill.
Creative Process and Ideas Workshop with Deryn Carr (45 min.):
Get insights from Grit Pictures owner, filmmaker and Square Lens Alliance organiser! He'll deliver a live workshop on creative process and ideas workflow and demonstrate in-depth knowledge and techniques.
Deryn owns one of Yorkshire's lesser-known yet more formidable production companies, Grit Pictures Ltd. Although enjoying his role as Creative Director he never did settle- and still hits the tools every week when he should be chasing invoices. Deryn enjoys botany and death metal in equal measures but makes a point of never mixing them. He has still yet to discover the perfect pork pie.

Film Screening: “Snapshot” (15 mins.)Greenlit for funding by BFI Network in 2020, 'Snapshot' is a semi-autobiographical account of John's lived experiences of unemployment and the job interview process as an Autistic Adult. Screening at 5 film festivals (winning at its premiere at Wigan & Leigh), the film has received acclaim from audiences and critics alike, with UK Film Review calling Snapshot; 'An admirable achievement...That deserves recognition.'
Whilst residing in South Yorkshire, John garnered national recognition from The National Autistic Society, following his introspective, candid short documentary 'Asperger's: And What Of It?', being featured as a Finalist in the Aspiring Filmmakers category of their Autism Uncut Film Festival Awards of 2017.
Q&A Session with John Clark and Matt Glaz: As per our usual format following a screening, John and Mat Glaz will participate in a panel discussion about the project and how it was made. This is always such a popular and interactive part of the evening fielding fascinating questions from the audience.Learn more at: https://www.hiddenpicturesnorth.com/
🤝 Networking Opportunities: As usual throughout the event, there will be ample time to connect with fellow creatives.
