Spyro Gyra returns to the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre for two shows with Lee Ritenour! After two sell-outs last year, Spyro Gyra is back! Spyro Gyra is known for their stimulating live performances and knack for crafting danceable melodies. The group have issued a steady stream of high-charting albums like 1979's gold-certified Morning Dance. Radio hits like Shaker Song, Catching the Sun, It Doesn’t Matter, A Winter Tale, and Unwritten Letter keep the band an audience favorite. Spyro Gyra rose from humble beginnings in Buffalo, New York in 1974 to their current international prominence in the jazz world. During Lee Ritenour’s dazzling five-decade career, the fabled LA guitarist has taken his music to the outer limits, alighting on every genre and occupying every position in the rock ‘n’ roll firmament. He’s been an enfant terrible of ’70s fusion, a crossover star of the ’80s pop chart, an honorary exponent of Brazilian jazz, and the fingers behind ’90s supergroup, Fourplay.
