Springtime on the farm experience - 2026

Welcome to our Springtime Experience!

We welcome you to our farm on the east shore of Loch Lomond, just north of the village of Balmaha.

Come and join us at this busy time of year and learn about our sheep and cows and see the newborn lambs and calves.

There will be an opportunity to meet the sheep and lambs in our lambing shed and learn about the role of the shepherd at this time of year, you might be lucky and witness the birth of some lambs during your visit (though this cannot be guaranteed!)

During the experience you will get the chance to:

• Meet farmer Sheila in the lambing shed where you will watch and learn about general sheep husbandry, and learn all about what happens on this family farm throughout the year.

• Meet the sheep & their newborn lambs

• Visit the calving shed

• Hopefully experience a birth (however this can't always be guarantee)

• Meet the pet lambs

• Lots of opportunities to ask questions

• Plenty of photo opportunities

There will be hand washing facilities available on site, there will be strictly no eating or drinking during the experience (except for the lambs & calves!)

No dogs to attend experience
