Springtime Magic with the Joyful Florist

Celebrate the beauty of spring blooms in this hands-on floral design workshop led by The Joyful Florist. In this session, participants will work with hydrangeas, gerbera daisies, and roses to create a vibrant, balanced arrangement while learning foundational design techniques.

You’ll explore how to combine focal flowers with supportive blooms, manage scale and proportion, and create visual movement within your design. Step-by-step instruction will guide you through proper stem preparation, strategic placement, and layering techniques that bring structure and cohesion to your arrangement.

This workshop is designed for all skill levels and focuses on practical skills you can repeat at home. By the end of the session, you will leave with a professionally styled floral arrangement and the confidence to create polished, spring-inspired designs on your own.

The workshop begins promptly at 11:30am. We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes early to get settled.

After a brief introduction to floral preparation and color theory, you will follow guided instruction through the full design process. Throughout the session, you’ll receive hands-on support as you build your arrangement using a curated selection of vivid seasonal blooms and greenery.

Expect approximately 90 minutes of active designing, technique-building, and step-by-step guidance.
