Springtime | Johanna Rosa Falkinger & Daniela Fietzek

The ACF DC welcomes soprano Johanna Rosa Falkinger and pianist Daniela Fietzek for a concert celebrating spring and the rhythms of nature.

Exploring the meaning of movement, the musicians greet the gentle breezes along the East Coast with their song program Springtime. With works by Franz Schubert, Anton Bruckner, Fanny Mendelssohn, and their contemporaries, they indulge in romantic reflections on nature, driving away the last traces of winter. The evening unfolds with lively spring melodies by jubilarian Johann Strauss Jr., Michael Mautner and the young Austrian composer Flora Geißelbrecht.
