South Africa, with its unique habitats and plant diversity, was in full bloom during our springtime visit in September/October 2024. Our 6 week, 5,500 mile self-drive road trip starting in Cape Town took us through 10 national parks in South Africa and southern Namibia. Vultures, eagles, cranes, sunbirds and turacos were some of the 402 birds observed. Oryx, hartebeest, leopard, rhinoceros and cheetah were some of the 64 mammals we encountered. Join us for an adventure through the stunning South African landscape!Speakers: Doug Reitz & Charlotte Pavelka
