Springrock in een nieuw jasje.
Voor de oude rockers onder ons was het Dordrecht Festival, dat begin jaren '90 plaatsvond, een jaarlijkse must. Dit festival was een ontmoetingsplek voor muziekliefhebbers en bracht de grootste rockartiesten naar Nederland. Bands zoals Stryper, Guardian en Whitecross stonden toen op de bühne.
Springrock keert terug, maar dit keer in een nieuw, compacter formaat en met een grotere focus op lokaal talent. We willen de geest van het originele festival behouden, maar ook ruimte bieden aan opkomende artiesten uit de regio. Zo combineren we nostalgie met vernieuwing, en bieden we zowel oude bekenden als nieuwe sterren een podium.

Für die Rockfans der ersten Stunde war das Dordrecht Festival in den frühen 90er Jahren ein jährliches Muss. Dieses Festival war ein Treffpunkt für Musikliebhaber und brachte die größten Rockkünstler nach Holland. Bands wie Stryper, Guardian und Whitecross standen damals auf der Bühne.
Springrock kehrt zurück, diesmal jedoch in einem neuen, kompakteren Format und mit einem stärkeren Fokus auf lokales Talent. Wir möchten den Geist des ursprünglichen Festivals bewahren und gleichzeitig aufstrebenden Künstlern aus der Region Raum geben. So verbinden wir Nostalgie mit Erneuerung und bieten sowohl alten Bekannten als auch neuen Stars eine Bühne.

Springrock in a New Look
For the classic rock fans among us, the Dordrecht Festival in the early ’90s was an annual must-attend event. This festival was a meeting place for music lovers and brought some of the biggest rock artists to the Netherlands. Bands like Stryper, Guardian, and Whitecross took the stage back then.
Springrock is now making a comeback, but this time in a new, more compact format with a greater focus on local talent. We want to preserve the spirit of the original festival while also creating space for emerging artists from the region. In this way, we combine nostalgia with innovation, offering a stage to both familiar faces and new stars.
