Springfield Preservation and Revitalization invites you to a (not-so-scary) Halloween kick-off party in Sesquicentennial Park on Friday, September 27 from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM!
Make plans to welcome the spooky season with us! Bring a blanket and enjoy live music by Madison Grace, a performance by the Pine Forest Dance Ensemble, and a picnic dinner from local food trucks To Be Frank Jax, Planet Pizza and Peach Cobbler Factory, plus beer for sale at the SPAR Bar. Get those finishing touches on your Halloween costume done early, and debut it at the event - costumes encouraged for all, but kids will have a special opportunity to show theirs off for a prize, and do some trick-or-treating at vendor booths! Be sure to also stop by the pop-up petting zoo hosted by Sheehan Homestead so the kiddos can visit with bunnies, goats and chickens! Also enjoy festive games and activities and a 50/50 raffle.
