The next meeting of the Springfield Astronomical Society will be Tuesday August 26 at 7:00PM in the Story Hour Room (moved from Room B due to construction) at The Library Center on South Campbell in Springfield.
In preparation for the October International Observe the Moon Night, come listen to Lane Pierce as he discusses the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and its advancement of Moon Science. Lane will be discussing this still active satellite and the results it has provided to scientists as they prepare to return to the Moon again.
Please make plans to attend!
NOTE: DON'T FORGET that the meeting has been moved from our usual location in Room B to the Story Hour Room due to construction at the Library.
