Plan a Spring Day of Making with WillowJanuary is a great time to plan something creative to look forward to as the seasons begin to shift.
On Saturday 18 April 2026, I’ll be returning to Westonbirt Arboretum for a full-day willow sculpture workshop, held in the Arboretum’s dedicated studio space.
You don’t need any previous experience. I’ll guide you through the process, and you can choose what you’d like to make on the day. A sculpture, a wreath, a willow animal or a garden ornament. Some people arrive with a clear idea, others let it unfold as they work with the willow. Both approaches are very welcome.
It’s a relaxed, sociable day. Bring a friend or come on your own, enjoy working with natural materials, and head home with something you’ve made by hand.
