About this Event
This naturalist-led program will provide a thorough introduction to our local wildflowers and the role they play in our ecosystem. Local naturalist and Assistant Director of Conservation for Westchester County Parks, Taro Ietaka, will speak about the importance of our native plant species, including our native wildflowers. Wildflowers provide habitat and food for pollinators as well as people, contribute to soil health, and help prevent erosion. Come join us and get to know your local blooms!
