Join us next spring to paddle the beautiful rivers and creeks of Maryland's Eastern Shore. Headquarters will be at Martinak State Park. There will be paddles offered from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. As always, we'll divide into pods based on paddling skills and interests.Martinak State Park is adjacent to both the Choptank River and Watts Creek. Both are quiet, protected waterways perfect for kayaking. The campground has campsites with and without hookups, and there are rustic cabins, too. We've reserved the park's big picnic shelter for a welcome cookout Friday and an after-dinner meeting Saturday. Paddles will be organized from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
To take part, there are two steps:

The fee is $10 to cover some cookout food, firewood and pavillion rental. Once you have registered you will be able to view the list of other paddlers who have signed up.
Second: Follow the link on the registration page to go to Martinak State Park and book a site or cabin for May 1-4. If you want to stay in a hotel, there is a Best Western a few minutes away in Denton.
