Hello Trail Enthusiasts,
Alabama State Parks and Yellowhammer Outdoor Development (formerly North Alabama Trails & Recreation) are excited to announce the Spring Trail Master Course at the beautiful Oak Mountain State Park!
🌲 The Workshop
This intensive certification is led by Trail Design Specialists. You’ll gain hands-on expertise in:
Sustainable Trail Design & Construction
Advanced Maintenance Techniques
Crew Leadership & Management

By earning your Trail Master Certification, you empower your organization to design, build, and maintain trails in-house. Save time and budget by reducing your reliance on outside contractors while ensuring your trails are built exactly to your specifications.

Federal & State Agencies: USFS, NPS, and State Parks.
Local Government: Parks & Recreation Departments.

User Groups: Mountain biking, hiking, equestrian, and climbing clubs.

Dates: April 12–16, 2026
Sunday, April 12: Afternoon/Evening Registration
Monday–Thursday, April 13–16: 4-Day Intensive Workshop
Location: Oak Mountain State Park
Investment: $750 per person
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch are included (Monday–Thursday). Participants are responsible for dinner.
