Join The People’s Echo for a song circle led by Eugene-based community song carrier, Karly Loveling!🎶🎵In a song circle, songs are taught call-and-echo style and are learned in the moment, sometimes with harmony, sometimes without. This is an all-voices-welcome, non-performing singing group that values connection over perfection. We're singing for the pure experiential joy, healing, and connection that it brings. Whether you are experienced and comfortable singing harmonies or solos or you are brand new to group singing, this group is for you! Even if you only sing in the shower or in the car when no one else is around, you don't think of yourself as "a singer," or you have been told that you "can't sing," this group is for you. Try it out and be delighted by the sounds we can make together and the strength you will receive from the songs that we sing.
Karly Loveling is a passionate songleader, songwriter, and a permissionary of heartfelt expression. She leads an accessible and engaging group, Singing Heart Harmonies, in Eugene as part of the Ubuntu Choir Network and offers classes online, at Community Singing gatherings, and retreats. Her often playful, meaningful, layered songs are companions for songleaders from Appalachia to Ireland. Hear some of them here:
