WHAT: Peter Bartlett will lead a 2-mile group hike along the Morono Park Trails. Mostly flat on a well-maintained gravel road. Hiking time: about 90 minutes round trip; Distance: 3+ miles round trip; Level of Difficulty: easy, mostly flat surface.
Meet at the parking area on 2nd Street. From central Concord, take N. State Street to Fisherville Roa to Sewalls Falls Road and turn right onto Second Street (between Beaver Meadow School and Beaver Meadow Golf Course). Park in the parking lot on the left, under the power lines, just before the railroad tracks. The Morono Park trailhead is just across the street.
Google Maps – Search for destination “62 2nd St., Concord NH.” This is the last house on 2nd St, on the right side of the street. The parking area is about 300 feet beyond it, on the left, under the power lines, and the trailhead is opposite, on the right side of the street.
