Watters Garden Center is proud to announce its upcoming Spring Sip & Shop, a unique after-hours event designed to connect local plant lovers while supporting Prescott's historical and educational roots. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 15, from 4-6pm at the garden center, located at 1815 Iron Springs Road in Prescott.
The Sip & Shop serves as a "pre-dinner happy hour" where guests can unwind in a lush, botanical setting. This year, the event takes on a deeper meaning as Watters Garden Center partners with the Sharlot Hall Museum. During the evening, a special tree dedication will be announced for the museum grounds. Additionally, the garden center will be collecting donations to plant three significant trees in local school gardens, providing a living classroom for students to learn the art and science of horticulture.
"Gardening is about more than just what happens in your own backyard; it is about the roots we put down in our community," said Ken Lain, owner of Watters Garden Center. "By supporting the Sharlot Hall Museum and our local schools, we are ensuring the next generation grows up with a love for the land and our local history."
