Our Spring series event # 2 is Saturday May 9th (rain date Sunday 5/17, will make that call closer to the time if we need to). Will open at 9am, plan to start on the rocks at 10am. We use our own non sorrca rules (rules below). We will be running class 1, 2 and 3, so bring all 3 trucks if you have them.
Class 2 will be 30 gates
Classes 1 and 3 will be 20 gates each
Rock Dock daily admission is $10, there is no additional charge per class for the comp itself.
Class Rules:
C3 Non-Sorrca
-2 axle max; no Motor on axle
-6” max/ 4.76” min (labeled) tires (No pin tires)
-Frame rail or tube chassis only
C2 Non-Sorrca
-Frame width front bumper required
-Flat or C Channel chassis required -Chassis frame rails must be at least 1” longer than the wheelbase
-2 axle max; No MOA or rear steer
-Max tire size 4.75” (labeled size) -2.2 max wheel size
C1 Non-Sorrca
-4.19” max (labeled) tires
-Chassis mounted servo
-Full body/bumpers (must be as wide as inside track width of tires
-Flat or c channel chassis
-Flat Skid (no angled skids)
-2 axle max; No MOA or rear steer
Course Scoring below. We will also explain all the rules on the day of the comp, as we’ve changed our points up a bit, but essentially:
Reverse +1
Winch +3
Rollover +5
Kinetic bungee +6
Gate (per marker) +10
Reposition/hand of god +10
Forward reposition +20
Timeout gates +20 (any gates not completed within the time limit)
Time limit per course will be 12 minutes.
