Homeschool Haven MN – Spring Seasons Hike at Dodge Nature CenterJoin Homeschool Haven MN for our monthly series at Dodge Nature Center.
A Dodge naturalist will lead us on a spring seasons hike where kids will explore pond, prairie and woods discovering what's emerging through all 5 senses.
Please note! This event is NOT a drop-off. All kids are expected to have at least one parent/guardian in attendance 🙂
During the hike children will:
-Hunt for the first signs of spring in prairie, pond and forest
-Learn to identify what's waking up - plants, insects, birds and more
-Discover what's happening beneath the surface even when things look dormant
-Use all five senses to experience the season coming alive
-See how each habitat wakes up differently
This is a wonderful opportunity for homeschool families to learn outdoors, connect with nature, and build community.
📅 Date: Thursday April 16th
🕐 Arrival: 1:30 PM
🪺 Naturalist Hike: 2:00–3:00 PM
🌿 Exploration + community time until 3:30
📍 Dodge Nature Center – West St. Paul
Cost: $10 per Child 3+ (under 3 = free)
