Greetings Pleasant View Family,Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Jonathan Carpenter, Pastor of Exmore Baptist Church on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. I am greatly blessed to have pastored there for the last 19 years. I was saved at Exmore as a nine-year old boy in 1984 and also surrendered to preach there in 1986 at the age of 10. In January of 2007, the Lord led me and my wife, Stacey, along with our children, Andrew and Bethany, back to the Eastern Shore to serve as the undershepherd of God's flock. It has been an incredible journey!
While I love pastoring our congregation, I have always had a passion for evangelistic preaching. As a teenager, I began preaching through pulpit supply for churches in our area. Since then, I have been blessed to preach at campgrounds, conferences and churches in several states. We currently share God's Word each week through our local radio station and through Facebook each Sunday.
I would be incredibly blessed and honored to meet you at the April 26-28 meetings at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Please pray in advance that the services will be anointed by the Lord. Please make every attempt to bring an unsaved friend or family member as the gospel will be shared at each service. I am also praying that it will be a time of spiritual renewal as we all strive to grow in our faith.
