The Newcastle Spring Recycling Collection Event will take place Saturday, Apr. 19, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hazelwood Elementary School. No vehicles may enter after 3:00 p.m.Please be prepared to pay exact change (cash only) at entrance for any user fees. Only the following items will be accepted:
-Tires ($6-30, depending on size)
-Lead Acid Batteries
-Alkaline Batteries
-Confidential Document Shredding
-Styrofoam Blocks and Packing Peanuts
-Electronic/Computer Equipment
-Printers/Copiers ($5)
-Television Sets
-Propane Tanks ($10)
-Porcelain Toilets and Sinks ($25)
-Appliances and Scrap Metal ($5 for water heaters)
-Refrigerators/Freezers and Air Conditioners ($35)
-Mattresses/Box Springs ($35)
