It's our last Spring Open Day with East Auckland Tourism this Sunday, 5th October 10am-4pm. It’s the school holidays so bring the family along and create your own art work. We will have two sites to make your own ephemeral art. Ephemeral art is intentionally made to be temporary, existing for a short time before disappearing, decaying or being dismantled. At each site, we will have natural materials sourced from Riverhaven for you to create your own work. Then leave it for other people to enjoy.
For inspiration research Andy Goldsworthy Sculptor and Photographer.
Self-directed walk prices. $20 adults >18 years, $15 5-18 years, children free. Dogs welcome but must be kept on a leash at all time.
@charlie.grace.bar will be on site selling hot drinks and @creamicecream will be selling their delicious ice creams.
Auckland University Architecture students will also be on site with Artist/lecturer @Matt_Liggins who will be making an “anti architecture” work also from natural materials from Riverhaven Artland.
@katieblundellartist Gallery + Studio will be open for viewing
