“Buy local, grow local" by participating in the Harris Nature Center’s Native Plant Sale on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The annual Spring Native Plant Sale features Michigan-native sedges, grasses, wildflowers, ferns, and complete garden kits. Proceeds benefit HNC. All plants are grown locally at Designs by Nature and Michigan Woodland Wildflowers and Ferns. Community members can order plants in advance or shop on the day of the sale. Pre-orders are due on Wednesday, April 15 and will be available for pick up on the day of the sale. For those who do not pre-order, additional plant varieties will be available for purchase on May 2.
