About this Event
Come enjoy a spring morning picking strawberries on the Miller Farm in Locust Grove! The Miller family has been farming this land for four generations and they love hosting the community during strawberry season! There are picnic tables, a playground, a sandpit, and a garden to explore. Families can roam freely to pick strawberries themselves from the strawberry field and/or there will be fresh-picked strawberries for purchase. CHSVA will cover the cost of two pounds of strawberries for each family.
**We will gather at the picnic tables near the playground at 12:00 PM for lunch. At no cost to you, CHSVA will provide sub sandwiches, chips, fruit, drinks and ice cream. At 12:30 PM, all who are interested, will walk over to the farm store for scoops of ice cream on us! If you or your child has a food aversion or allergy, please feel free to pack a lunch.
Space is limited, so be sure to register your family today!
Please note that this is not a drop-off event - parents and/or guardians are required to be present. About a week before the event, more details will be shared by email with registered families.
