About this Event
March 28 - Spring Meditation Hike - Morgan Trail
This interpretive meditation hike is a great way to be in the present, become familiar with practicing meditation, and learn about native plants and anything else along the trail.
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better” - Albert Einsten
Description
Join us for a slow-paced, interpretive meditation hike in the Santa Ana Mountains. This out-and-back trail winds through the Manzanita and Oak-lined beauty of Morrell Canyon, where Willows and Sycamores trace the canyon floor and seasonal water may flow after winter rains.
The route is a moderate “roller coaster” with gentle elevation changes along a single-track trail. We’ll begin with a brief introduction and grounding practice, then move mindfully through the landscape—pausing to notice native plants, spring wildflowers, birds, and the subtle gifts of the season.
The final 30 minutes will close with a seated, guided meditation near the parking area.
