Step back in time and discover how people once welcomed the new season. In the Victorian kitchen, our cook will be sharing traditional Easter recipes and springtime chores, showing how households prepared for the brighter months ahead. In the parlour, learn about Victorian spring traditions and customs, from seasonal celebrations to everyday life in the home. Meanwhile, Mr Black will be hard at work in the printers, demonstrating how spring-themed cards were produced on our 1857 Colombian printing press.There will also be hands-on craft activities for children, plus a fun trail around the museum to help young visitors explore and discover more along the way.
