The 15th Annual Spring into Gardening Conference invites gardening enthusiasts and beginners alike to enjoy a day filled with expert advice, creative ideas, and hands-on guidance. The conference, hosted at Wesley United Methodist Church in Charleston, will feature Amanda Thomsen, renowned horticulturist, garden designer, author, and owner of Aster Gardens, as the keynote speaker. Participants can attend breakout sessions led by University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educators, covering topics like greenhouse production, composting, companion planting, herbs, tree selection, and shade gardening.Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid in a silent auction, browse a variety of items at the sales booth, and enjoy refreshments throughout the morning.
