The SHH&GS’s January Gathering will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill on Main Street! Come and enjoy learning about Spring Hill’s history with us on January 6, at 5:30pm, at one of the city’s many historic churches. Plus, the SHH&GS’s very own Sissy Alley Taylor will give the gathering attendees a quick walkthrough of the historic church! The church was dedicated on December 23, 1888 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The church used to have a steeple, but the steeple was damaged in the 1963 Spring Hill Tornado. A painting of the church’s first minister, Frederick Augustus Thompson, hangs inside the church.We hope to see you at our January Gathering!
