Forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) is a Japanese practice of immersing yourself in nature through mindful engagement with the forest environment. Denys Morgan will lead you on a gentle, meditative experience inviting you to slow down and connect with nature using all five senses. Research shows forest bathing reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and boosts immune function. Our guided session will help you unplug from daily pressures while experiencing the profound healing benefits of time spent among trees. This is an outdoor event. Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a walk in the beautiful Metroparks. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled.
