Spring Flower Mobile w/ Sophie Kanter

​​CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Get into the spring of things with this fun flower-themed workshop! We will be experimenting with pressed flowers and turning them into a mobile by using sealable plastic sheets, jewelry findings, and crystals and prisms. The mobile is totally customizable and up to your creative whims! Each participant will receive enough supplies to make 1 mobile in class and some extras to take home to continue playing with.

All materials will be provided - just bring your creative spirit!

Sophie Kanter is a textile artist living in Washington, DC. A native of the city, she is inspired by plants and everything nature has to offer, in addition to beautiful modern design. Her practice includes natural dyeing, embroidery, cross stitch, and much more! The best part of her art is sharing the process with others and seeing the unique creations of others. In addition to art, she also loves chocolate chip cookies and other people's dogs.
