Join in celebrating the return of spring with CRD Regional Parks naturalists, Indigenous cultural programmer, CRD Climate Action educators and Power To Be! Make connections between you and the place you call home. Discover how you can be a steward whether you're at a park, school, work, or your own home. Come and explore the exhibits, crafts, and activities – fun for the entire family!Our events are drop-in style and free. Come by anytime between 11am and 2pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026. All ages welcome.
Meeting place: Hamsterly Beach, on the north end of Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park.
Terrain Description: Event takes place on flat compact gravel path and grass adjacent to the parking lot. Accessible washrooms and nature playground are available nearby.
Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
