Come and celebrate the Spring Equinox with a relaxing and therapeutic sound bath. Here you will have a chance to experience relaxation on a very deep level whilst being accompanied by the therapeutic sounds of Himalayan Singing Bowls, Gongs, Crystal Singing Bowls and Therapeutic percussion such as chimes and rainsticks. The Spring Equinox is a time of revitalisation, re-birth, creativity, and new beginnings, and the soundbath process encourages this, allowing for the mind, body and spirit to unwind, adjust, rebalance, and re-energise. Sound has been proven to facilitate a deeper relaxation and one that remains with the individual for a greater period of time than that of similar relaxation processes. As part of the event there will be opportunities for self reflection, and there will be poetry and seasonal readings, and ending with some delicious refreshments including soup, salads, and cakes.
This session is suitable for almost everyone, including those who may experience anxiety or stress, and also for anyone who would like to enjoy the opportunity for deep relaxation. Unfortunately they are not suitable for pregnant ladies who are in their first trimester. If you currently have or are being treated for severe/clinical depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or any other serious mental health condition please contact me. Please bring a yoga mat or similar, cushions and a blanket so that you can be as comfortable as possible. There will be some delicious refreshments after the session and also time to reflect upon the experience.
It will be a lovely evening of soundbathing, self-reflection, poetry, and cake - and there'll be a goody bag to take home. I hope you can join me.
