As day and night come into sacred balance, we gather to honor the turning of the wheel and the quiet awakening of spring.
In Chinese medicine, spring is governed by the Wood element—the energy of growth, vision, renewal, and forward movement. Like tender shoots reaching toward the light, Wood invites us to expand beyond winter’s stillness and reclaim our inner momentum.
The Wood element is associated with the Liver and Gallbladder meridians—pathways that support the smooth flow of Qi (life force), emotional harmony, clear decision-making, and the capacity to dream and plan. When these meridians are nourished, we feel supple rather than stuck, inspired rather than constrained. When stagnant, we may feel frustration, tightness, or restlessness—echoes of energy longing to move.
During this two-hour immersive experience, acupuncture will gently open and harmonize the Liver and Gallbladder channels, encouraging the free flow of Qi throughout the body. As the needles work subtly beneath the surface, the ethereal vibrations of crystal singing bowls and gongs will wash through you like spring rain.
The pure tones of the crystal bowls resonate with the body’s energy centers and fluid systems, creating spaciousness within the meridians and supporting the natural rhythm of release and renewal. The deep, expansive waves of the gongs move like wind through branches—clearing stagnation, dissolving stored tension, and awakening dormant vitality.
