Join us for an evening of chant, chai and connection as we gather to mark the turning of the year.
Kirtan is a call-and-response form of musical meditation that combines group singing, rhythm and movement. A lead singer and musicians guide the group through simple, repeated ancient chants.
No experience needed! The words are easy to pick up as you go.
It’s an uplifting practice that can help you relax, connect with others and move through different states — from quiet meditation to joyful, ecstatic dance.
Kirjam is a collective of local Castlemaine Kirtan singers and musicians who host community Kirtan events at each solstice and equinox.
