The Fold is delighted to be honouring the Celtic Wheel of the Year, so that we may gather together in Community, connect with the land, each other, and touch the sacred in the cycles of nature.Our next gathering is to celebrate the Spring Equinox, when we feel our Mother Earth awaken from her winter slumber. As the first blossoms appear on the blackthorns and the daffodils smile, this is a time of energy and growth, to make plans and plant seeds. It is also a moment of balance, and an opportunity for us to reflect on what we want to plant & nurture to achieve our own personal balance in our busy lives.
We will meet in the big Market Barn, which is outdoors but under cover. Please dress appropriately. We begin with a simple vegan hotpot meal provided for free by our community farm. You are invited to bring vegetarian or vegan food to share, but don't worry if you can't. Bringing yourself is enough. **We don't have enough bowls/cutlery/mugs for everyone, so please do try to bring a set for yourself.**
After sharing a meal together, we will then explore the mysteries of the spring tide and how we can connect with the energy of the Earth and Sun around us. We'll finish off with some inner work around the campfire.
These gatherings are free and our gift to the Community!
