Spring EcoTeam: Turtle BMPs

The 2025 Spring EcoTeam will be focused on turtles. We'll meet at a Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation turtle habitat enhancement project, Laidlaw Park. Hear from experts who have been working with turtles for decades, from how to consider construction activities when turtles are present, to controlling invasive turtle species.

Parking: Please park on NW Lakeview Dr. We'll be directing folks into the site from this location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/AGeRK1AA6QxgfhiZ6

Weather: The event will take place rain or shine. Please bring waterproof boots (mostly for mud), rain wear, and whatever else you may need to stay warm, dry, and comfy standing in the elements for two hours.

Restrooms: There are no restrooms available on site. The nearest restrooms are located about one mile west at the Bethany Village shopping mall.

Lunch: Only water and coffee will be provided. While no food is provided, I highly suggest if folks want to carry on conversations after the event that they meet at one of the many food options available at Bethany Village, such as the Bethany Public House.
