Spring Clothing Swap

Join Chicago Fair Trade’s Conscious Closet Club for a weekend-long clothing swap at the Chicago Fair Trade Museum. We welcome swappers of all ages, sizes, and genders to this ever-popular, inclusive event.

Please note we have two ticket options: get first dibs at our Exclusive Preview Night ($39) or swap for less with our General Admission ticket ($10). Space is limited, so tickets will be good for a 3-hour time slot.

EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW NIGHT: Friday, April 4 from 6-9 PM

Get first dibs! Opening-night tickets are $39 ($29 for CFT members) and include:

• First dibs! Take home up to 10 swap items
• Free readmission to one slot on Saturday or Sunday
• Adult beverages and heavy appetizers
• Styling tips and shopping help from our professional thrift stylists
• Mingle with your fellow conscious consumers!

GENERAL ADMISSION: Saturday, April 5 & from 10AM -7PM

& Sunday, October 13 from 11AM -5PM. Space is limited, so choose a time slot when purchasing a ticket. Time slots are Saturday 10-1, 1-4, & 4-7, Sunday 11-2 & 2-5.

PLEASE NOTE: More and more clothing is donated throughout the weekend, so don't worry if you can't make an earlier slot-we have new-to-you items coming in throughout the weekend.

Admission on Saturday and Sunday is $10 (free for CFT members). Your ticket includes:

• Take home up to 10 swap items
• Please bring your own bag to carry away your clothes!

Clothing Donations: You can bring donations with you to the event or drop them off in advance at participating locations. Drop-off points so far include:

• The Chicago Fair Trade Museum, 4704 N Broadway Street, Chicago. Drop off hours: Wednesdays-Saturdays, 12-5 pm.
• The Unwaste Shop, 1108 W Madison St, Chicago. Drop-off hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10 am-6 pm; Saturdays, 10 am-5 pm, Sunday 11 am- 5 pm. Closed Mondays.
• Ten Thousand Villages Evanston, 1509 Chicago Ave, Evanston, IL 60202 Drop off hours: Mondays-Fridays11 AM–6 PM, Saturdays10 AM–6 PM, and Sundays12–6 PM
• Mata Traders, 5112 N Ravenswood. Drop-off hours: Drop-off hours: Tuesday & Wednesdays 11-5, Fridays 11-3
  

Acceptable items: Clothing in good condition for all ages, sizes, and genders. A little wear and tear is fine, but please don’t bring anything that’s already reached the end of its useful life! We will accept all types of clothing, jewelry, and accessories, as well as clothing hangers to use on the day.
