Done some spring cleaning and not know what to do with all that extra junk?? Come bring it to the Grown Up Goblin Market!!! Basically a freebox freak fest, let's go!!The term "goblin market" comes from a special occasion we have among the kids at work where they all bring stuff to trade, NO MONEY ALLOWED. The kids trade cool rocks, crafts, stickers, old jewelry and cute things at their goblin markets.
I would like to think a little bigger for us "grown ups" maybe we can bring books, clothes, plants (starts would be sweet!!), cute tchotchke trinkets, toiletries (some lotion or perfume you were gifted that you didn't actually vibe with) board games, old movies/CDs, instruments, Christmas lights, unhung art and more!! (Whatever treasures your heart can imagine parting ways with).
Goblin Markets are great because they fight capitalism while providing goods to our community members, strengthening community itself.
