Accepted Items include: Poisons, herbicides, batteries, aerosol cans, propane/helium canisters, oil-based paint, solvents/gasoline/thinners, antifreeze, fluorescent tubes, fire extinguishers, adhesives, asbestos, corrosive acids/bases/cleaners, dioxins, fertilizers, organic peroxides, reactive solids, oxidizers, flammable solids, mercury, freon/acetylene, electronics (including TVs!)
We will NOT accept: water-based paints (bag and put in trash), motor/hydraulic oil (take to auto retailer), or medications (drop off at 315 W 2nd Street)

*Landfill Disposal
Voucher needed to dump at the landfill on Saturday.
If you’ve used a voucher before, your number is the same every year. Residents get four visits a year, which automatically renew on Jan 1st.
If you’ve never been before, sign up for free at www.franklincounty.ky.gov/ trash-vouchers
Residents must tell the landfill staff their voucher number, then show ID.
*Yard Waste Wednesday
Begins 4/22 and runs every Wednesday through 11/4
8 AM to 12 PM at the Road Dept: 100 Lewis Ferry Rd
